The Bull's Head

When in Thailand, eat British food!

OK, I know I should really eat as much Thai as possible when I'm here, but I need variety and I need my sausages and mash, and Fatt needs his all-day English breakfast. There are a lot of British pubs in Thailand, due to (my friend points out) the large number of British blokes who settle down here after finding lurve.

I don't really know about that, but the Bull's Head fries some wicked sausages, thereby satisfying both Fatt and myself. Their toad-on-the-hole is smothered in a delicious onion gravy which you can also have on just plain chips if you like. I have yet to try the chip buttie, but I have tried the fish and chips which beats the chippy on Soi 23 anyhow. There's a non-smoking section upstairs and the service is always very nice. My only grumbles are the lack of Heinz baked beans (original recipe) and why their chicken pie is a recommended dish (it shouldn't be).

hmmm, now for that chip buttie....
